Captions
Each Caption is a 1-of-1 bespoke canvas artwork created from over 1,000 photographs of your specific vehicle, using your factory VIN paint code. No two pieces are alike. Production takes 8–12 weeks from order confirmation. Full process: The Caption Journey.
Renditions
Renditions are original limited-edition abstract compositions. Each design is limited to 100 prints worldwide. Production takes 1–4 weeks from order confirmation.
All products sold through this website are physical wall art. We do not sell digital downloads or NFTs through this platform. Future NFT offerings will be available exclusively on OpenSea as separate transactions, entirely outside this website and outside Stripe.
Ordering — What You’ll See Before You Pay
Before your order is finalised, we present a complete summary including: item description, total price (taxes and shipping included), estimated production window, and a link to these Terms and our Refund Policy. You have the opportunity to review and correct all details before payment is processed.
By completing checkout, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Sale and our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store your payment card details.
Captions: A 50% deposit is collected at checkout to reserve your production slot. The remaining 50% is due at Week 7, after your approval of the full-scale digital preview. If Splatchi is unable to fulfil your order for any reason, your deposit will be refunded in full within 15 days.
Renditions: Full payment is collected at checkout to lock in your edition number.
Production Updates
For Captions, you receive three progress updates:
- Update #1 (Week 3–4) — Your Top 10 captions ready for approval
- Update #2 (Week 5–7) — Full digital composition ready for final approval
- Update #3 (Week 8–12) — Canvas complete, tracking information and unboxing guide
Cancellation and Refunds
Full policy: Refund and Cancellation Policy. Key terms:
- Captions: Cancel within 30 days of order and before Design Proof #1 approval → 25% of deposit refunded. After 30 days or after Design Proof approval → no refund.
- Renditions: 30-day money back guarantee from purchase date (full payment minus 30%). After 30 days → all sales final.
- If your order is not delivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, you may request a full refund under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
Shipping
All orders ship from Canada. Flat rate shipping charged at checkout. If actual shipping costs exceed our standard rate, Splatchi absorbs the difference. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes on international shipments.
Intellectual Property and Brand Disclaimer
All artworks produced by Splatchi Couture are original creative works. Copyright in each artwork belongs to Splatchi Couture unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Collectors own the physical artwork; Splatchi retains all reproduction rights.
Vehicle and brand names used in artwork titles identify the subject matter only. Splatchi Couture is an independent studio and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially licensed by any automobile manufacturer — including BMW AG, Ferrari S.p.A., Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., Porsche AG, or any other named marque. All manufacturer names and vehicle model names are trademarks of their respective owners. No manufacturer logos appear in our artwork.
Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
